Gary Moffet has enjoyed an illustrious career in the music industry as guitarist, composer, producer and arranger.

 

Widely known for being a member of April Wine, Gary was a major force behind the band’s studio sound and live performance from 1973 until the group’s disbanding in 1984.

 

Gary’s international career with April Wine and his years as an independent record producer have earned him more than 40 Gold & Platinum awards, including 4 multi-platinum in Canada.

 

American awards include Gold for ‘Harder, Faster’ and Platinum (1 million units sold) for ‘Nature of the Beast’.

 

In 2010 Gary received a Juno award commemorating April Wine’s induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
